an instant perfection
cross mountains
and caverns
those who can afford
travel great lengths
to gain their reward
an instant of happiness
upon completion
joy for more dollars
lies of luxury
dependability
and strength
step right up
call out your name
your hope
your greatest desire
burned to the core
you
up against the wire
stop the words
stop the pictures
keep your money
stop the issues
hold
restraint
calm to think
keep the limits
short and brief
this will make
your life complete.

venom
all about
the purge
pass it on
slab by slab
someone
gave it to you
you give it to the next
pass it on
evil onward
walk down
slick it up
corner after corner
please stop
it's not funny
crawl away

Taste
Press
the pulse
back in
upwards
and
down
the ridges
of tongue
hot and sweet
chocolate rain
milk fresh
claw to the top
sink
then rise again
to be
remembered.

Mad
I dream again
of mindless beasts
passing over
the darkened sky
hands shaking
caught in
the fear
of childhood
over which
we seldom
remember
close the eyes
and pluck
those pictures
from the brain
although they beat
in the heart.

Lapse deadly
into sleep
those false prey
that wander
unpleasant halls
bent on suffering
the tragic deaths
of the blind
pulled from fire
of the storm
whose pages read again
bring happiness
to those who wait
and gleam
the sense
to follow.

Fame
On tenders deep
the mirrors wilt
and all those who glory
feeds.

Next
The teeth
they are sharp
Collect the fire
watch it burn
beg for forgiveness
Rock
Walk
past lonely streets
only the blue
remains.
